Since ancient times in India, Aloe Vera is known for its medicinal properties. A lot of Ayurvedic medicines consist of aloe Vera as the main ingredient. It has external as well as internal applications for many health issues.

Since acquiring information and knowledge became easier, a lot of people started opting for Ayurvedic / herbal medicines and demand for Aloe Vera grew multi-fold. it contains many nutrients and elements that are useful in manufacturing health supplements. Health Benefits of Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera is beneficial for a lot of health problems and is proven to be a great herbal substitute.

Here are some of its health benefits &

Skin– The major benefit of Aloe Vera is for the skin. It keeps skin hydrated, and soft, and prevents the growth of acne. It heals the effect of sunburn during summer. It is also used in treating dermatitis, cutaneous, and XRay burns. The pulp acts as a cleansing agent and when consumed directly, it cleans your system internally and gives clearer skin.

Jaundice / Piles – The drug from Aloe Vera juice is used in jaundice, amenorrhea, atonic, and piles.

Healing Agent – Aloe Vera gel has the ability to heal wounds, ulcers, and burns. It is soothing and has a cool feel to it. The acid present inside Aloe Vera is used as an effective painkiller and its antiseptic properties can kill old bacteria and viruses.

Arthritis / Asthma – Consumption of the juice from this medicinal plant works effectively to soothe conditions like heartburn, arthritis and rheumatism pain, and asthma.

Studies and research on Aloe Vera have proved that its juice is very effective in lowering the blood sugar levels in diabetics it is also a boon for hair. It makes hair silky and its pulp is very effective in curing dandruff.

However, it is advised that Aloe Vera should not be consumed during pregnancy, menstruation, breastfeeding, or in case of an inflamed intestinal disorder.

Aloe Vera Leaf Processing

1. Aloe Vera Washing Unit

This is the first step in Aloe processing. The leaves are washed with an anti-microbial solution to remove the dirt and bacteria on the surface. After that, culling and trimming for the leaves take place. Later, the rind is removed and filleting is done. In this, the base and tip of the leaf is removed and the inner surface is cleaned in flowing water.

2. Aloe Leaf Conveyor

This system consists of all the contact parts of SS 304, roller press machine with food grade belt roller press with adjustable gap arrangement system, 1 Graded motor 3 HP, SS mesh type conveyor belt to recover the green part of leaves, pump collection tank, and bottom drain.

3. Screw Pump is used for transferring Aloe Pulp.

4. Pulveriser / Fruit Mill

It is used for crushing the fruits for the process. Pulveriser / Fruit Mill is a part of fruit pulp processing and it is made from thick gauge plates, serrated from the inside, and a high-speed rotor /chopper fitted inside. Feed & discharge chute etc. In this case, making the pulp into a consistent raw material that is used for the beverage.

5. Aloe Vera Pulp Storage Tank

Once it is crushed into a pulp, it is then transferred to the storage tank and stored there till it is converted into a beverage.

6. Waste Belt Conveyor is used to discard the waste material from the above processes.

7. Pulp Transfer Pump is screw-type machinery used for transferring the Pulp.

8. Pulp Collection Tank is the place where the pulp extracted from the pulverizer is collected and then stored in Pulp Holding Tank.

9. Pulp Filling Machine is in the final stage.
