Steam & Retort Steriliser

Steam Sterilizer Machine

Retorting is the heating of low-acid foods to obtain commercial sterilisation. In this method, the packaged product is sterilised after the container has been filled and hermetically sealed. Hence, the product is sterilised inside the container.

This method offers the benefit of single-stage sterilisation and eliminates the need for aseptic packaging.

GOMA manufactures & supplies retorts as per the following methods, depending on the types of containers and food items:

Hot water spray (PP/HDPE containers or Pouches)

Hot water-retaining, (PP /HDPE Containers/ Pouches)

Steam methods (Glass /Cans Containers /Pouches)

Special features offered for the retort system are:

Temperature uniformity of the process,

Support pressure accuracy

Force cooling provision

The control system is provided with PLC and user-friendly HMI

In-built Real-Time Clock with date and time function.
