JAM & JELLY PROCESSING

Jam processing Plant

Jam is a product obtained by cooking fruit pulp with the addition of sugar & acid to the desired consistency. Jam contains 0.5-0.6 % acidity and 68 % total solids. It can be prepared from one kind of fruit or two or more (Multifruit). For the preparation of Jam fruits used are Apple, mango, papaya, tomato, peach, pear, apricot, grape, carrot, strawberry, raspberry, muskmelon, etc. Jelly is a semisolid product obtained by boiling a clear, strained fruit juice with sugar and acid to a thick consistency. Jelly contains total soluble solids not less than 65 % and acidity 0.5-0.7 %.

  • Fruit Inspection, Fruit washer, Fruit Cutting

  • Fruit Pulping & Pulp storage

  • Addition of Sugar & Additives in Preparation/ Mixing Tank

  • Cooking the Product in Kettle

  • Hot Filling & Cooling

  • Labeling & Packing
