Water Injection Pumps

Water injection pumps are used for disposing of saltwater or effluent, which comes with crude oil during its extraction.

This excess water is pumped back to the ground in a non-performing well for the secondary recovery of crude oil.

Goma offers a turnkey project for high-pressure effluent and water injection systems at ETP plants in the oil fields.

The system comprises a high-pressure horizontal, triplex / quintuple single-acting reciprocating plunger pump driven by an electric motor & a diesel or gas engine, suction & discharge piping as per specific requirements, a suction pump (a centrifugal booster), control valves, pulsation dampeners, and an and an oil field skid as per our standard design to meet the following flow rate and discharge pressure.

Pressure range: up to 10,000 PSI

Flow rate: up to 250 M3/Hr

These units are designed for 24x7 continuous duty and rough outdoor applications.

The pumps and complete unitization of the pump package are as per API-674 and Hydraulic Institute standards.

These packages are easy to maintain and accessible to the different components in the system. Moreover, efficiency & accuracy are elevated, considering various parameters.

As part of API 674, acoustical simulation studies can be carried out for the water injection pumps & systems.

Various materials (i.e., SS 304, 316, duplex, & super duplex stainless steel) are available for the water injection pumps, especially the fluid end, depending on the properties of the liquid.

Goma has successfully deployed water injection pumps & systems at multiple locations all over India since 2002.
